The Sommerkonzert der Musikkapelle Völs, or the summer concert series of the Fiè allo Sciliar (Völs am Schlern) music band, is one of the most beloved summer traditions in the municipality. The Musikkapelle Völs am Schlern

The Musikkapelle Völs am Schlern is the town's official music band, an institution deeply rooted in the community life of Fiè, following the proud South Tyrolean tradition of Musikkapellen. Founded in 1857, it brings together musicians of all ages who, in addition to performing at religious and civic celebrations, offer these open-air summer concerts for both residents and visitors. The repertoire ranges from traditional Tyrolean marches and polkas to popular music and lighter pieces, perfectly matching the convivial spirit of summer evenings.

The fire brigade's water games

One of the most characteristic and popular elements of the event is the water games (Wasserspiele): at the end of certain concerts, the Fiè volunteer fire brigade (Freiwillige Feuerwehr Völs) enlivens the square with demonstrations and water-based games, which are particularly popular with families and children. The concerts generally take place in the evening, starting around 8:45 PM (or 8:30 PM for early September dates) in the heart of the village. Admission is free.
