About Italian Traditions Carisolo

The Italian Traditions Festival brings Piazza 2 Maggio in Carisolo, Val Rendena, to life with a large market featuring regional specialties, artisanal crafts, and accessories. Organized by the Pro Loco Carisolo in collaboration with the local municipality, the event brings the flavors, trades, and specialties of all Italy to the foot of the Brenta Dolomites at the end of summer, complete with shows and entertainment for the whole family.

The Italian Traditions Festival in Carisolo

The Italian Traditions Festival is one of the most anticipated summer events in Carisolo, a small town in the Val Rendena valley in the province of Trento, Trentino-Alto Adige. For three days, the central Piazza 2 Maggio transforms into a large open-air market dedicated to regional specialties, craftsmanship, and accessories from various regions of Italy.

A market of flavors and trades

Strolling through the stalls, visitors can discover and purchase gastronomic delicacies, locally sourced products, and handmade creations that showcase the richness of Italian folk traditions. The event, organized by the Pro Loco Carisolo in collaboration with the Municipality of Carisolo and Marta Bulli Events, combines open-air shopping with the charm of a mountain village nestled between the Brenta Dolomites and the Adamello-Presanella group.

Shows and entertainment

In addition to the market, the festival offers shows and entertainment for all ages, enlivening the days and evenings in the square. The program is designed to enhance the visit with art, magic, and opportunities for socializing in an exceptional natural setting.

A food and wine tour among the chestnut trees

One of the most characteristic features of the event is 'Un bosco di delizie' (A Forest of Delights), a staged food and wine tour in the chestnut grove of Carisolo that allows visitors to taste local products paired with Trentino wines, guided by A.I.S. Trentino sommeliers. It is an original way to combine exploring the territory, tasting local delicacies, and taking a walk immersed in nature, just a short distance from the town center and the church of Santo Stefano.

Carisolo and Val Rendena

Located at the entrance to Val Genova and at the foot of the Brenta Dolomites, Carisolo is an ideal stop for those spending the summer between Pinzolo and Madonna di Campiglio. The Italian Traditions Festival is an opportunity to combine a mountain hike with the discovery of the typical products and crafts of our country, in the festive and familiar atmosphere typical of Trentino's Pro Loco associations. The event is part of a rich calendar of summer activities that animate the small Trentino town every year with sports, culture, and tradition.
