The premier showcase for agriculture in the Tavoliere region, held at the Foggia Exhibition Centre
The International Agriculture and Livestock Fair is one of the longest-running and most representative events for the primary sector in Southern Italy. It takes place at the Foggia Exhibition Centre, located along the Corso del Mezzogiorno, the beating heart of the Ente Autonomo Fiere di Foggia, in the capital of the Capitanata and the Province of Foggia, Puglia. For generations, it has been the major gathering point where the agricultural world of the Tavoliere delle Puglie—the second-largest plain in Italy and the breadbasket of the South—meets technology, markets, and institutions.
Foggia and its Tavoliere have always been synonymous with grain, vines, olives, and livestock. The Fair was born and has grown as a mirror of this identity: it is not merely a commercial exhibition, but an annual meeting point for farmers, breeders, mechanization companies, cooperatives, and protection consortia. For the public, it is an opportunity to discover Apulian food and wine excellence and the innovations currently transforming field work.
The event is essentially a hub for several specialized exhibitions held simultaneously:
In the spacious pavilions and outdoor areas of the exhibition centre, visitors can admire the latest generation of agricultural machinery, tractors, equipment for horticulture and irrigation, greenhouses and nurseries, seeds and fertilizers, as well as products and services for livestock farming and exhibitions of farm animals. Significant space is reserved for typical local products, from wines to oils, cheeses to baked goods, in a celebration of the flavors of Puglia.
The 2026 edition, originally scheduled for May 1st to 3rd, has been postponed to September 2026 by the Fair Authority: exact dates have not yet been finalized. As per tradition, admission to the event is free, and it remains a key appointment for agriculture in Southern Italy.
The International Agriculture and Livestock Fair returns in 2026 to the Foggia Exhibition Centre. The edition, originally scheduled for May 1st-3rd, 2026, has been postponed to September 2026: the Ente Autonomo Fiere di Foggia has not yet announced the precise dates or the full program.
The format remains the established one: an exhibition of agricultural machinery, irrigation equipment, seeds, and livestock products, together with the specialized salons Enolsud (vine and wine), PDO Olive Oil Salon, SAI (water and irrigation), and Cunavidud (rabbit and poultry farming). Admission is traditionally free.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition, postponed to September, has not yet been published. It will be announced by the Foggia Fair Authority on the official website fierafoggia.it as soon as the dates are set. As per tradition, the associated salons Enolsud, PDO Olive Oil Salon, SAI, and Cunavidud are expected, along with the agricultural machinery exhibition and areas dedicated to typical Tavoliere products.
