A walk to be savored, step by step

GustaVilla is the food and wine event that the Pro Loco of Villanova Mondovì dedicates to those who love combining fine dining with the pleasure of a stroll. Born from a simple and winning formula, the event guides participants along the trails and scenic viewpoints surrounding the town, with a series of gourmet stops distributed along the route: each stop offers a course or a taste of local products, from appetizers to desserts, accompanied by wines and specialties of the Monregalese area.

Where it takes place

The event is held in Villanova Mondovì, a municipality in the Province of Cuneo in Piedmont, at the foot of the Maritime Alps and at the entrance to the Monregalese valleys. The village is known for its extensive network of trails through woods, hamlets, and viewpoints, the ideal setting for a walk that alternates nature, landscape, and cuisine. GustaVilla enhances this very heritage: the route winds through local paths, offering panoramic views of the plains and the surrounding mountains.

A format for everyone

GustaVilla is designed to be accessible to a wide audience: families with children, groups of friends, expert hikers, and simple foodies. The pace is that of a leisurely walk, without mountaineering difficulties, and in recent editions, there has been the possibility to cover the itinerary by e-bike as well. It is an opportunity to get to know the area in an informal and convivial way, while supporting the work of the Pro Loco volunteers.

Part of the Pro Loco calendar

The event is part of the rich annual calendar of the Pro Loco of Villanova Mondovì, which in 2026 presents itself with the slogan «Fun is served» and joins GustaVilla with other events such as Villanova in Palio and VillaFest. Now in its third edition, GustaVilla has established itself as one of the most anticipated gastronomic events of the autumn in Villanova.
