Every spring, Golosaria Monferrato lights up the hills between the provinces of Alessandria and Asti, turning them into a vast, widespread festival dedicated to the taste, wine, and culture of the region. Promoted by Paolo Massobrio and Marco Gatti's ilGolosario, the event involves over forty towns and has its main hub at the Castle of Casale Monferrato. Ottiglio, a small municipality in the Province of Alessandria in the heart of the Casalese Monferrato, is one of the most evocative stops thanks to its hamlet Moleto, a village nestled among the vineyards.

Ottiglio is part of the itinerary that crosses the municipalities of the hilly unit together with Cella Monte, Altavilla Monferrato, Fubine, Grazzano Badoglio, Olivola, and Frassinello. The town's most characteristic offering is the food and wine cycling tour starting and ending in Moleto: a route of about 30 kilometers through the municipalities of the hilly unit, passing through Casorzo, Fubine, and Altavilla, punctuated by stops and tastings.
