The travelling Italian and European street food festival in the EUR district
This edition has not been confirmed by the organiser to date. We recommend checking before going.
Gnam! European Street Food Festival is a travelling event dedicated to high-quality street food. Its Rome stop takes place in the EUR district, along Viale Oceania and around the lake at the Parco Centrale del Lago. Set in the greenery of one of the Capital's most scenic spots, the festival transforms the lakeshore into a large village of taste, with food trucks, vintage Ape cars, and stalls ready to welcome thousands of visitors with free admission.
The heart of the event lies in its gourmet islands, each dedicated to a specific region or cuisine. On one side, Italian regional specialties—from Tuscan lampredotto to Apulian bombette, Neapolitan pizza to Sicilian arancini and cannoli, as well as products from Lazio, Marche, Abruzzo, and Emilia-Romagna—and on the other, international flavours, with tapas and sangria from Spain, gyros and baklava from Greece, tacos and burritos from Mexico, and churros and South American specialties from Brazil and Argentina.
Gnam! is more than just a gourmet market. Throughout the venue, live music, street performer shows, and entertainment keep the atmosphere lively until late at night. The informal and convivial vibe, typical of street food culture, invites you to stroll between stalls with a snack in hand, stop to listen to a concert, and discover recipes prepared fresh in front of the public.
Its location at the EUR lake, accessible by parking facilities and the metro, makes the Rome stop particularly convenient and family-friendly. Organised within the Municipality of Rome, in the Metropolitan City of Rome Capital and the Lazio region, the event is part of the national Gnam! tour, which visits various Italian cities, bringing the same formula of quality, variety, and free admission everywhere.
