The artisanal chocolate fair in the EUR district
Roma Chocolate is the event dedicated to artisanal chocolate that, every autumn, turns a corner of Rome into a delicious open-air boutique. The most anticipated edition takes place in the EUR district, where dozens of stands welcome master chocolatiers from various Italian regions. An event that combines taste, entertainment, and cocoa culture in the heart of the Metropolitan City of Rome, in the Lazio region.
Strolling among the stalls, you will discover pralines, chocolate bars, spreads, and surprising chocolate sculptures. Master chocolatiers share the secrets of cocoa processing and offer tastings of their creations, from classic recipes to more contemporary interpretations. Guided tastings allow visitors to appreciate the origins and nuances of a product that is simultaneously craft, art, and pleasure.
Roma Chocolate pays special attention to the little ones. On the weekend, Saturday and Sunday, there are educational and creative workshops for children, ranging from chocolate modeling to creating small pralines. For enthusiasts, there are cooking shows and live demonstrations with pastry chefs who reinterpret chocolate in a modern way. An experience designed for families, young people, and adults who want to delight their palate.
Thanks to its proven formula and free admission, Roma Chocolate has become one of the most beloved stops on the Roman food and wine calendar. The setting of the EUR, with its wide avenues and famous staircases, offers an elegant and accessible backdrop, easily reached by subway. The event takes place even in case of bad weather, thanks to covered structures that protect the stands and dining areas.
From artisanal exhibitors to activities for families, Roma Chocolate celebrates the Italian confectionery tradition and the timeless charm of cocoa. A sweet and convivial weekend that invites Romans and tourists alike to discover chocolate in all its forms, in one of the most evocative areas of the Municipality of Rome.
The 2026 edition of Roma Chocolate is scheduled from Friday, November 15 to Sunday, November 17, 2026 in the EUR district, along Viale Europa, at the foot of the scenic Saints Peter and Paul Staircase.
