The Bunter Herbstmarkt (colorful autumn market) is the event that closes the season of the Glurnser Laubenmärkte, a series of themed markets that animate the medieval arcades of Glorenza (Glurns) every year. As the smallest town in South Tyrol, nestled in the Upper Vinschgau valley, it offers a unique setting. The market takes place under the historic Laubengasse, the arcade street that served as the commercial heart of the fortified village for centuries, still enclosed by its original walls and three gate towers.

The market showcases the fruits of the Vinschgau autumn: stalls where farmers sell their harvest directly, mountain dairies, and associations promoting ancient plant varieties and local biodiversity. Highlights include apples and the renowned Pala pear (Palabirne), a Vinschgau specialty celebrated during its own dedicated week in late September.
