A weekend of inter-neighborhood challenges in Beinasco, featuring sports, music, and street food.
The Giochi Senza Quartiere is one of the most cherished and anticipated events in Beinasco, a town located in the southern outskirts of Turin, Piedmont. For over two decades, this gathering has drawn more than three hundred participants of all ages, united by a strong sense of community and friendship. It is more than just a sporting and recreational event; it is a true celebration of togetherness, collaboration, and local identity, bringing different generations together every year in the spirit of fun and teamwork.
The heart of the festival is the competition between the five teams representing the city's neighborhoods: Beinasco Centro, Borgaretto, Borgo Melano, Fornaci, and Madonna del Rosario. Teams face off in a series of challenges designed to test their coordination, agility, and competitive spirit:
Each neighborhood takes to the field in its own colors, turning the weekend into a series of exciting competitions and moments of great popular participation.
Alongside the competitions, the program is packed with activities for everyone. For children and families, there are summer games, including inflatables, creative workshops, and entertainment, as well as stalls from local associations. In the evenings, the atmosphere comes alive with street food, live concerts, and DJ sets, making the Sports Field the true hub of the fun. It is a weekend entirely dedicated to sports, music, and socializing, designed to involve the whole community.
A unique feature of the Giochi Senza Quartiere is that the main venue can change from year to year, showcasing different parts of Beinasco—from the Serea Sports Field in Borgo Melano to the Spinelli Sports Field—bringing the festival's energy to every corner of the city. Organized with the involvement of the Pro Loco and supported by the Municipality of Beinasco (Department of Sport, Cultural System, and International Cooperation), the event is now a well-established tradition in the summer calendar of the province of Turin.
