The Italian festival dedicated to gin returns to the Bunker in Turin with over 400 labels and free masterclasses
The Gin & Tonic Festival arrives at the Bunker in Turin on Friday, June 12th, and Saturday, June 13th, 2026, for its highly anticipated Piedmontese leg. Born in Bergamo in 2016, it is considered the first and original Italian festival entirely dedicated to gin and its most famous pairing, the gin and tonic. For 2026, the event celebrates its tenth anniversary with a tour visiting several Italian cities, with Turin taking center stage for the second consecutive year following its local debut in 2025.
The heart of the event is the selection of over 400 gin labels, both Italian and international, which visitors can sample while meeting producers directly from every region of Italy. A special section, Local Heroes, is dedicated to distilleries and local producers, highlighting the bond between gin and the Piedmontese identity.
The program offers a series of free masterclasses, open to the public on a first-come, first-served basis, organized in collaboration with the industry portal ilGin.it. Featured guests include experts and professionals from the gin world such as Marco Bertoncini, one of the founders of ilGin.it and one of the few Italian members of the prestigious Gin Guild. There is also The Gin Lab, an interactive experience that allows you to compose your own personal recipe and take home a unique bottle.
Beyond tastings, the Gin & Tonic Festival offers a true celebration: food trucks with Italian and international street food, DJ sets, live radio broadcasts, karaoke sessions, a market area with artisanal products, and moments dedicated to the whole family. The underground, post-industrial space of the Bunker, in the Barriera di Milano district, creates an evocative atmosphere that contrasts with the elegance of the event.
With tens of thousands of attendees recorded in previous editions of the national tour, the Gin & Tonic Festival has established itself as one of the most popular food and wine events for spirit enthusiasts. The stop at the Bunker confirms Turin, the capital of Piedmont, as one of the symbolic cities of gin culture in Italy, in a city already renowned for its tradition linked to vermouth and great spirits.
The 2026 Turin stop of the Gin & Tonic Festival takes place at the Bunker on Via Paganini on Friday, June 12th, and Saturday, June 13th, marking the second consecutive year in the city. The edition coincides with the tenth anniversary of the event, which was founded in Bergamo in 2016.
Highlights include: over 400 Italian and international gin labels, direct meetings with producers, the Local Heroes section dedicated to regional businesses, free masterclasses in collaboration with ilGin.it and experts like Marco Bertoncini of the Gin Guild, and The Gin Lab experience to create your own personalized bottle. The program is completed by food trucks, a market area, DJ sets, live radio, and karaoke.
