The major pop culture festival at the Centro L'Arca in Spoltore
Fun Fest Pescara has become the go-to event in Abruzzo for fans of comics, video games, cosplay, and pop culture. The festival takes place within the Centro Commerciale L'Arca in Spoltore, at Via Federico Fellini 2, just outside Pescara. In just a few editions, it has grown to become one of the most popular pop culture events in Central and Southern Italy.
Launched in 2024, the festival has successfully engaged a massive audience through a formula that combines big names from the world of voice acting and cartoon theme songs, board game and video game tournaments, cosplay competitions, and activities for children. Admission is free, a key factor that has helped make it a popular and inclusive event, attracting families, teenagers, and collectors alike.
Fun Fest is organized into themed areas that animate every corner of the center: from the Asian Zone dedicated to K-pop and oriental culture, to the LEGO area curated by Abruzzo Brick with exhibitions and building contests, all the way to the beating heart of gaming with video game stations, board game arenas, collectible card tournaments, and the massive Cosplay Hub, which culminates in the Cosplay Contest.
Over the years, Fun Fest Pescara has hosted legendary figures from the world of cartoon theme songs and beloved faces of children's television, as well as nationally renowned voice actors and major cartoon-themed parties. The combination of live concerts, DJ sets, meet-and-greets with authors, and performances ensures a festive and nostalgic atmosphere for both adults and children.
With its constant growth, the festival has established itself as one of the most important showcases for pop culture in Abruzzo, an event capable of turning the Centro L'Arca in Spoltore into a giant playground for an entire weekend.
