The Festa di Sant'Anna is the patron saint's festival of Porto Potenza Picena, the coastal district of the Municipality of Potenza Picena, in the province of Macerata, in the Marche region. Dedicated to Saint Anne, mother of the Virgin Mary and protector of the maritime community, it has been the most anticipated event of the local summer for decades: for over ten days, the village overlooking the Adriatic becomes a large meeting space, where the religious dimension intertwines with the popular, musical, and gastronomic one.

Ten days of events between the town center and the seafront

From July 17 to 27, 2026, the squares, streets, and beach of Porto Potenza Picena will host a rich program designed for all ages. The evenings are marked by live concerts, musical tributes, dancing performances, theatrical shows, and comedy moments, while daytime activities include sports tournaments, events for children, and beach initiatives.

• Religious events: the Holy Mass and the solemn Procession of the Patron Saint through the town's streets, the spiritual heart of the festival.

The Festa di Sant'Anna has its roots in the devotion of the fishing community of Porto Potenza Picena and is organized by the Comitato Festa di Sant'Anna (Saint Anne Festival Committee), with the patronage of the Municipality of Potenza Picena. Over the years, the festival has grown to become a true summer festival of the Riviera, capable of attracting residents, tourists, and visitors from all over the Marche, while maintaining the spirit of participation and solidarity of its origins: many gastronomic initiatives, in fact, have charitable purposes.
