De.Co. Gnocchi and Monte Faldo Potato
The festival revolves around Selva De.Co. gnocchi (Denominazione Comunale - Municipal Designation), prepared with the Monte Faldo De.Co. potato, grown on the heights of the area. The gnocchi are cooked and tossed in a pan, dish by dish, and offered with a choice of ten different sauces: from ragù to butter and sage, to more refined variations that change from year to year.
Two Weekends of Celebration
The event takes place over two weekends, between late August and September, with food stalls, markets, live music, and entertainment. The organisation is managed by the parish of Selva di Trissino, which makes this festival a moment of community gathering for the entire community.
