The Sagra Parrocchiale di Cornedo Vicentino is the big village festival of Cornedo Vicentino, a municipality in the Agno Valley in the province of Vicenza. It takes place over four days around the last Sunday of August in Piazza Aldo Moro, promoted by the Parish of San Giovanni Battista with the patronage of the Municipality.
The food stand
The stars of the table are the gnocchi alla fioretta, a specialty of the Vicenza tradition prepared with "fioretta", a typical fresh cheese from the area. The food stand offers local cuisine dishes in a convivial atmosphere that attracts residents of Cornedo and nearby towns.
Music, shows, and Mycological Exhibition
The program alternates musical evenings with orchestras, concerts, comedy shows, disco nights, and excursions. The cultural heart of the sagra is the Mostra Micologica (Mycological Exhibition), dedicated to mushrooms, flowers, and wild herbs, curated by the Ecomicological Group of Cornedo, which has been involved in collecting, classifying, and exhibiting mycological and plant material for decades.

There is also a charity raffle, inflatable games for children and teenagers, and a band concert, making the Sagra Parrocchiale an event for all ages, capable of uniting faith, tradition, and fun in the community of Cornedo Vicentino.

The 2026 edition of the Sagra Parrocchiale di Cornedo Vicentino will take place, as tradition dictates, over the four days surrounding the last Sunday of August, in Piazza Aldo Moro. Confirmed are the food stand with "gnocchi alla fioretta", musical evenings with orchestras, concerts, comedy, and disco, the Mycological Exhibition of mushrooms, flowers, and herbs, the charity raffle, and games for children.
