Among the hamlets of West Vicentino, the hamlet of Restena, in Arzignano in the province of Vicenza, celebrates its patronal festival every year: the Sagra della Madonna di Monte Berico. The feast day is linked to Marian devotion, which culminates on September 8th, the feast of the Madonna di Monte Berico, patron saint of the city and the Vicenza territory.
Two weekends of gastronomy
The festival takes place over two weekends, between late August and early September. The heart of the festival is the food stand, which offers local traditional specialties, from first courses to grilled meats, as well as local desserts and cheeses.

Alongside the food, the program combines religious moments—celebrations, Eucharistic adoration, and the evocative tradition of the torch lit from Monte Berico—with musical evenings, entertainment, and recreational activities for young people, families, and children.
