The Sagra di Santa Maria del Cengio takes place in the homonymous locality of Isola Vicentina, in the province of Vicenza, at the Area Verde di Santa Maria del Cengio. Falling at the end of August, it is traditionally the last of the Isola Vicentina summer festivals: a sort of farewell to summer for the community of the upper Vicenza area.
Two evenings of tradition
The festival unfolds over two evenings with a food stand and music, in the spirit of conviviality that characterizes all Venetian village festivals. It is organized by the Associazione COASI di Isola Vicentina, which manages the entire cycle of August festivals, with free admission for all.

Together with the festivals of the Assumption, of San Lorenzo in Castelnovo, and of San Rocco, that of Santa Maria del Cengio completes a whole month of widespread festivals that make Isola Vicentina, during the summer, a small crossroads of Venetian popular tradition.

In 2026 too, the locality of Santa Maria del Cengio closes the Isola Vicentina summer with its festival, scheduled around August 24-25 at the homonymous Area Verde. Two evenings with a food stand and music, following the tradition of festivals organized by the Associazione COASI di Isola Vicentina.
