The Moto Club Gli Svevi motorcycle rally in the Swabian town of Oria
Every year, as summer hits its stride, Oria—an ancient Messapian town in the province of Brindisi, in the heart of Puglia—hosts the Festa Biker Sveva, a motorcycle rally organized by the Moto Club Gli Svevi. For one night, the Piazzale dei Padri Rogazionisti fills with custom bikes, gleaming chrome, live music, and the scent of street food, drawing two-wheel enthusiasts from across Salento and neighboring provinces.
The Moto Club Gli Svevi ASD was born from the passion of a group of Oria riders for custom motorcycles and everything that surrounds them: brotherhood among bikers, road trips, and country and rock music. The Festa Biker Sveva is their flagship event, a rally open to everyone—regardless of gender, age, or origin—where the roar of engines mixes with the notes of live concerts.
The evening's program alternates between pure biker spirit and entertainment: the bike wash ritual, burlesque shows, live performances, and food stalls featuring Apulian specialties and street food. For those arriving from further away, a free camping area is available, allowing guests to enjoy the rally until late at night and depart at their leisure the following day.
The setting is Oria, a town dominated by the Swabian castle commissioned by Frederick II—from whom the club takes its name—and listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy. The historic center, the Giudecca district, and the medieval alleys provide a natural backdrop for an event that, beyond celebrating motorcycle culture, invites participants to discover one of the jewels of Messapian Puglia. It is an opportunity to combine a passion for two wheels with the rediscovery of the Oria area and the province of Brindisi.
Now with a long series of editions behind it, the Festa Biker Sveva has become a classic of the summer in northern Salento. The informal atmosphere, the club's hospitality, and the big-family vibe on two wheels make it much more than just a rally: it is a community celebration that renews the bond between bikers and the city of Oria every year.
The 2026 Festa Biker Sveva took place in Oria, in the province of Brindisi, confirming the Moto Club Gli Svevi's summer tradition. The Piazzale dei Padri Rogazionisti hosted the custom bike rally, starting in the evening and continuing late into the night with concerts, entertainment, and conviviality.
As per tradition, the event combined the on-the-road spirit of bikers with country and rock music, shows, and food stalls featuring street food and Apulian specialties, in a festive atmosphere open to enthusiasts and families alike.
The Festa Biker Sveva takes place over one big evening, opening at 7:00 PM in the Piazzale dei Padri Rogazionisti. The format, consolidated over the years by the Svevi, includes:
