The international exhibition-market that turns Rivoli into a European square
The European Market of Rivoli is one of the most anticipated spring events in the western suburbs of Turin. For an entire weekend, the historic center of the town of Rivoli, in the Province of Turin and the Piedmont region, fills with colorful stalls, enticing aromas, and diverse languages: it is the international traveling exhibition-market organized by FIVA Confcommercio under the patronage of the Municipality. The 2026 edition marks the eleventh Rivoli stop for this event, which has captivated thousands of visitors over the years.
The heart of the European Market is its selection of approximately 100 exhibitors from Italy, Europe, and various countries around the world. Strolling through Piazza Martiri, Corso Francia, and Corso Susa, you will encounter a collection of cultures and traditions ranging from Austria to the United Kingdom, from France to Spain, and even offerings from other continents. Each stall tells the story of a territory through its products.
The selection combines traditional crafts with food and wine specialties. Among the great classics returning every year are Spanish paella, Breton biscuits, English ceramics, Sardinian specialties, and Austrian speck. There is also plenty of international street food, teas and spices, honey from the Alpine valleys, and the most curious products that each edition brings to the square.
Among the novelties announced for the 2026 edition are the famous Portuguese pastéis de nata and traditional Turkish crafts, alongside Italian excellence such as leather goods from the Marche region and home textiles. It is a testament to an event that renews its offerings every year while remaining faithful to its mission: allowing visitors to travel without ever leaving Rivoli.
With free admission and stalls open from morning until late at night, the European Market is designed to be enjoyed at a leisurely pace, one tasting at a time. The location of Rivoli's center, just a few kilometers from Turin and well-connected, makes it an ideal destination for a spring trip filled with flavor, craftsmanship, and an international atmosphere.
