The grand finale of summer at the Santa Teresa Park in Spoltore
The End of Summer Festival has become one of the most anticipated end-of-season events in the Santa Teresa district, in the Municipality of Spoltore, Pescara province. Set in the picturesque Santa Teresa Park, the event transforms the large green space into a meeting place for the entire community, gathering to celebrate the conclusion of the Abruzzese summer together.
The heart of the evening is the convivial party: dancing under the stars, singing at the top of your lungs, and sharing memories of the summer just passed. The program alternates between live musical performances and a long DJ set that keeps the crowd going until late at night. There is no shortage of local gastronomic specialties, with Abruzzese arrosticini serving as the undisputed stars of the evening festivities in the Pescara area.
The event is promoted by the K-JGEM Santa Teresa association with the participation of the Municipality of Spoltore. As highlighted by the municipal administration, this is a local youth-led initiative with both sporting and socio-cultural significance: the festival serves as an occasion to present the local basketball team and to strengthen the bonds within the Santa Teresa community.
The End of Summer Festival represents the grand finale of a rich summer calendar that animates Spoltore from July to September, featuring historical re-enactments, patronal feasts, theater festivals, and musical evenings. Located on the first hills of the Pescara hinterland, just a few kilometers from the Adriatic Sea, Spoltore offers a moment of authentic Abruzzese social life, where tradition, music, and cuisine merge into an evening of celebration open to everyone.
The 2026 End of Summer Festival will take place on September 5, 2026, at the Santa Teresa Park in Spoltore, as part of the Spoltore summer calendar. The evening will feature the same formula as the season's closing party, with music, dancing under the stars, and traditional Abruzzese cuisine. The full program, including the line-up and schedule, will be released by the organizers closer to the event.
