About ElfFest

For three days, the Parco del Foro Boario in Lanzo Torinese transforms into the realm of the Fae Folk: elves, fairies, druids, and free spirits bring ElfFest to life. This Celtic, Norse, and fantasy festival celebrates the Summer Solstice with folk concerts, historical combat, artisan markets, fire shows, esoteric workshops, a children's area, and the evocative Solstice Fire lighting ritual, drawing thousands of visitors each year to the heart of the Valli di Lanzo, in the province of Turin.

ElfFest, the enchanted realm of Lanzo Torinese

Every year, coinciding with the Summer Solstice, the town of Lanzo Torinese, in the province of Turin, transforms into a fairy-tale world thanks to ElfFest โ€“ Celtic Festival of the Fae Folk. The setting is the evocative Parco del Foro Boario, at the gateway to the Valli di Lanzo, which for an entire weekend becomes a village suspended between myth and legend, where elves, fairies, druids, and free spirits create a shared universe of dance, storytelling, and magical atmospheres.

A decade of magic in Piedmont

Founded in 2016, ElfFest has grown to become one of the most important events dedicated to Celtic, Norse, and fantasy culture in Northern Italy, attracting thousands of visitors from across Piedmont and beyond. The event is organized by MS Eventi in collaboration with the Pro Loco of Lanzo Torinese, which manages the food and wine area featuring traditional Canavese dishes.

What you will find at ElfFest

  • Merchant Village: over fifty artisan exhibitors with fantasy-themed creations, jewelry, clothing, weapons, and esoteric items.
  • Concerts and live shows: folk, Irish folk, and folk rock music, oriental and tribal dances, fire shows, and light wings.
  • Historical combat hosted by re-enactment groups and Celtic and Norse historical camps.
  • Divination area with cartomancy and runomancy, plus lectures on magic, herbs, and energy.
  • Workshops on meditation, totem building, and home protection.

The Solstice ritual

The most anticipated moment is the Solstice Fire lighting ritual, which takes place on Saturday evening, gathering the public around the flames to celebrate the longest night of the year according to Celtic and Norse tradition. An immersive experience that combines spirituality, performance, and a sense of community, making ElfFest an unmissable stop for fans of the fairy-tale world and families looking for a unique experience in the greenery of the Turin valleys.
