About Earth Day Rivoli

Every spring, Corso Francia and Corso Susa, at the gates of the historic center of Rivoli (Metropolitan City of Turin), transform into a large open-air market dedicated to the land and those who cultivate it. Earth Day, promoted by TurismOvest in partnership with the Coldiretti section of Rivoli, brings together local farmers' stalls, displays of both antique and modern agricultural machinery, local zero-km products, and regional street food. A free Sunday designed for families and children, featuring educational workshops, pony rides, and the authentic flavors of the Piedmontese agricultural heritage.

A festival dedicated to the land and its cultivators

Earth Day is the spring event that brings Corso Francia and Corso Susa to life every year, right at the entrance to the historic center of Rivoli, in the Metropolitan City of Turin. Promoted by TurismOvest in collaboration with the Coldiretti section of Rivoli and supported by the City of Rivoli (Departments of Agriculture and Commerce), the event celebrates agriculture, the environment, and local traditions through a large, free-entry public festival.

A journey through the past and future of agriculture

The heart of the day is the local farmers' market, accompanied by a rich exhibition of agricultural machinery, ranging from the most antique models to the most innovative and technological ones. Each edition focuses on a theme related to rural culture: from the history of wheat to that of corn, and even haymakingโ€”the ancient art of cutting and preserving hay. It is a journey that starts in the past and reaches the present, looking toward the future through the most modern techniques.

Typical products, flowers, and zero-km street food

Along the avenues, you will find stalls filled with flowers, plants, and excellent local products, most notably the famous Biscotto Rivolotto De.Co., a symbol of Rivoli's confectionery tradition. For those wishing to dine outdoors, there is plenty of high-quality zero-km street food prepared by local producers, using excellent raw materials that tell the story of the authentic flavors of Piedmont.

For families and children

Earth Day is an event also designed for the little ones: among the stalls, there are educational workshops dedicated to discovering agricultural products and machinery, as well as the unmissable pony rides. A Sunday to be enjoyed with the family, centered on discovery, play, and connection with the rural world.

A green-themed weekend

The event is part of a wider calendar of initiatives that enliven Rivoli in the spring, from the Royal Community Tour with guided visits to the historic center and the famous Castle, to the Green Festival. It is an opportunity to discover this city in the province of Turin, its agricultural identity, and its deep bond with the territory of the lower Susa Valley.

Earth Day Rivoli โ€” edition 2026

The third edition of the Earth Day in Rivoli took place on Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, on Corso Francia and Corso Susa. The theme of the edition was haymaking, the art of cutting and preserving hay, told through a journey among vintage agricultural machinery and cutting-edge technologies, stalls of typical products, zero-km street food, and activities for children.

On Sunday, April 19, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Rivoli celebrated the third edition of Earth Day along Corso Francia and Corso Susa, near the historic center.
