A wine and food festival in the heart of Cassino
diVino Cassino - Food & Wine Festival is the autumn culinary event that brings Piazza Antonio Labriola to life in the center of Cassino, in the province of Frosinone. Promoted by the Municipality of Cassino through the Department of Commerce, the festival aims to highlight the region's winemakers and food excellence, gathering wineries and food stalls from the Cassino area and the Ciociaria region in one place.
Local wineries and wines
The heart of the event lies in the participating wineries, which present the best vintages of local production to the public. Key players include producers from the Atina DOC Consortium and numerous estates from lower Lazio, showcasing a region with a long winemaking tradition that is still a hidden gem but increasingly appreciated. The tasting format allows visitors to explore different wines as they move from one stand to another, glass in hand.
Flavors of local cuisine
Alongside the wines, the food stalls offer specialties of the Ciociaria and Cassino cuisine: polenta, Picinisco cheeses, pasta and beans with Cannellino di Atina beans, dishes featuring the Peperone di Pontecorvo, and local meats. It is a culinary journey that weaves together traditional products, protected designations of origin, and classic peasant recipes.
Music and atmosphere
The festival evenings are accompanied by folk and traditional music bands, which liven up the square and recreate the convivial atmosphere of village feasts. The event takes place in the evening, when the historic center of Cassino fills with visitors, families, and food and wine enthusiasts.
Cassino and lower Lazio
As a symbolic city of southern Lazio, famous for the Abbey of Montecassino and its history, Cassino confirms its role as a hub for promoting local food and wine with this event. diVino Cassino — edition 2026
Following its debut in November 2025, diVino Cassino - Food & Wine Festival is expected to return to animate Piazza Antonio Labriola in the autumn of 2026 with local wineries and food stalls. At the moment, the official dates and detailed program have not yet been released: information will be updated as soon as the Municipality of Cassino announces the calendar for the edition.

How to get there
By train: Cassino station on the Rome-Naples line, a short distance from the center. By car: Take the Cassino exit on the A1 Rome-Naples motorway, then follow signs for the city center.
Admission and tastings
Free access to the food stall area. For wine tastings, a paid ticket booklet is available for use at the wineries, including a souvenir glass.
