The wandering dinner through the alleys of the historic village of Nago
DegustaNago is the food and wine event that brings the historic village of Nago to life every summer. Located in the municipality of Nago-Torbole, on the Trentino shores of Lake Garda, the town serves as a stunning backdrop for this culinary experience. For one evening, the squares, alleys, and most picturesque corners of the village turn into an elegant open-air restaurant: guests move from stop to stop, tasting a different dish at each station in a journey that weaves together taste, landscape, and tradition.
The wandering dinner format is the heart of the event: each course is served in a different part of the village, allowing the public to discover hidden gems while they dine. The menu is curated by the Trentino Chefs Association and highlights local produce, featuring dishes such as salmon trout tortelloni and pork cheek braised in Marzemino wine. The paired wines come from local cellars, particularly the Cantina Frantoio Agraria Riva del Garda, with labels ranging from Trentodoc sparkling wines to native grapes like Schiava.
The evening is made even more special by live musical accompaniment provided by the Alto Garda Music School (SMAG), whose musicians perform at various stops along the route. The dinner is intertwined with performances and exhibitions, creating an intimate and refined atmosphere that combines fine dining with the beauty of the village overlooking Monte Baldo and the lake.
DegustaNago is organized by the Cento - Nago-Torbole Merchants Consortium with the support of the Municipality of Nago-Torbole, Garda Trentino, and local associations. Together with its twin event, DegustaTorbole, it is part of a collective project aimed at showcasing the food, wine, and cultural identity of this corner of Trentino overlooking Lake Garda. Participation is limited, and booking is mandatory.
The 2026 edition of DegustaNago is scheduled for Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 7:30 PM to 11:00 PM, in the historic village of Nago (Nago-Torbole, TN). The wandering dinner follows a six-stop route through the village's squares and alleys.
The food and wine journey, curated by the Trentino Chefs Association, includes:
Each stop is enlivened by musicians from the Alto Garda Music School. Throughout the evening, you can visit the photo exhibition "Imaginary Paths" by Laura Zinetti, while the evening concludes with a concert by the Three Tenors of La Scala in Milan at Nago Park. Booking is mandatory and places are limited.
Nago-Torbole is located at the northern end of Lake Garda. By car, it can be reached via the A22 Brenner motorway, taking the Rovereto Sud exit and continuing towards Riva del Garda. The nearest train station is in Rovereto (Verona-Brenner line), which is connected by regional buses.
Booking is mandatory and places are limited. Reservations can be made online through the Garda Trentino portal and at locations indicated by the organizers. As a reference, the previous edition cost 35 euros for adults (with a refundable deposit for the glass) and 12 euros for children aged 4 to 10.
We recommend comfortable clothing for walking along the dinner route. The Garda Trentino area offers numerous accommodation options in Nago-Torbole, Riva del Garda, and Arco.
