The Costina Festival is a summer culinary highlight held in Castelnuovo Vomano, a bustling district of the municipality of Castellalto, in the province of Teramo, in the heart of Abruzzo. The heart of the festival is the grilled costina (pork rib), the absolute star of the menu alongside the rich tradition of open-fire cooking. Every evening, the food stalls serve up the great classics of traditional Abruzzo cuisine:
