Christmas Village Raffadali

A Christmas-themed park in the heart of the Agrigento area

The Christmas Village is the grand festive attraction that has turned Raffadali, a town in the province of Agrigento, into one of the most surprising Christmas destinations in Sicily. Set up within the Villaggio della Gioventù, it covers an exhibition area of over 10,000 square meters entirely dedicated to festive lighting, decorations, and holiday atmosphere.

The initiative debuted in December 2025 and was an immediate success, attracting over 20,000 visitors during its opening month and providing a significant boost to local businesses. For Raffadali and the entire Agrigento district, it proved to be a major attraction, drawing families from across south-central Sicily.

What to find at the village

The layout is designed as a true theme park, meant to be explored by walking through its various themed areas:

• the elf trail and the field of shooting stars;
• meetings with Santa Claus, with the chance to take photos on his sleigh;
• Santa's house and the elf post office where children can mail their letters;
• the massive Christmas tree and the charming Christmas markets;
• the toy factory and the village donkeys;
• daily mascot parades and evening themed mini-shows;
• the funfair, the whimsical balloon igloo, and the ice zone.

A destination for families

Open daily from late afternoon until evening, the Christmas Village is an experience designed primarily for children and families, bringing the classic Christmas imagination to life on a grand scale. The single-ticket formula, which includes access to the main attractions and shows, has quickly turned it into a local tradition that the municipality of Raffadali aims to build upon in the coming years.

Towards an even bigger edition

Buoyed by the success of the first edition, organizers have announced plans to expand the village for the next edition, utilizing more space at the Villaggio della Gioventù and introducing new features such as an ice skating rink and a larger theater. Official dates for the 2026 edition have not yet been announced.
