The blue night of Buti: music and good taste
Butique Musique is one of the most beloved events in the summer calendar of Buti, a small and charming village in the Province of Pisa nestled at the foot of Monte Serra, in Tuscany. Known to all as the "blue night of Buti: music and good taste," the festival enlivens a weekend in early June every year, turning the entire historic center into an open-air stage. Reaching its thirteenth edition in 2026, the event is now a classic that attracts thousands of visitors from across the Pisan area.
The heart of the event is the Friday evening, when from 7:30 PM the village lights up and becomes a "musical village": shops open late, restaurants with themed outdoor dinners, aperitifs, and bands playing live in every square and in front of local venues. Among the recurring highlights is the performance by students from Perla Trivellini's voice academy, while the concert in the main square with artists and bands closes the night with music and dancing until late. It is the formula of the typical Tuscan village festival, where good music, great food, and social life merge into one big community evening.
The second day, dubbed Butique Family, changes pace and focuses on children and families. From the afternoon, Piazza Garibaldi turns into a welcoming funfair with inflatables, trampolines, face painting, cotton candy, and many playful activities, while the evening continues with a piano bar, aperitifs, and dinner in the square. There is no shortage of themed culinary offerings, such as the Spanish dinner featuring paella and sangria proposed by local restaurants.
Buti is also famous for other traditions, such as the Palio and the living nativity scene, and Butique Musique is the perfect opportunity to discover its streets, its workshops, and its hospitality in a festive setting. The event is organized with the support of the Municipality and local associations, in collaboration with the Terre di Pisa tourism circuit, and admission is entirely free.
The 2026 edition of Butique Musique & Butique Family was held in Buti on Friday, June 5 and Saturday, June 6, 2026, confirming the two-day format.
