About Bricks & Friends

Bricks & Friends is the major free festival dedicated to LEGO bricks, returning to Carmagnola, in the province of Turin, on Saturday, May 16th and Sunday, May 17th, 2026, for its fourth edition. Over 100 exhibitors from across Italy and Switzerland will take over the historic center with more than 2,000 square meters of dioramas, artworks, and play areas spread across six venues. An inclusive and charitable event that attracted over 25,000 visitors in 2025.

Carmagnola, the Capital of Bricks

For an entire weekend, the historic center of Carmagnola, in the Metropolitan City of Turin, Piedmont, transforms into the Italian capital of building bricks. Bricks & Friends is the free festival dedicated to LEGO that, in its fourth edition, confirms itself as one of the most beloved events in the Piedmontese calendar: in 2025, it surpassed 25,000 visitors and promises to fill the city's squares and palaces with builders, families, and enthusiasts of all ages once again in 2026.

Six Venues in the Heart of the City

The exhibition spans over 2,000 square meters distributed across six venues in the center: the Town Hall (Palazzo Comunale), the Church of San Rocco, the Civic Library, the Ancient Bastions (Antichi Bastioni), the Via Marconi school gym, and Piazza Bobba. More than 100 exhibitors from various Italian regions and Switzerland present dioramas, reproductions, and original creations made entirely of bricks. Among the most spectacular attractions are a 1:1 scale Ducati Panigale, a Ferrari 308 GTS, and a collection of historic Formula 1 single-seaters.

An Inclusive and Charitable Event

Bricks & Friends is more than just an exhibition: it is also about workshops, play, and social commitment. There are free-build areas for children, the Arduino Lab dedicated to robotics, and the inclusive activities of "Io Mi Slego," designed for children with cognitive challenges and autism spectrum disorders. The "Builders of Tomorrow" competition challenges young builders in Kids, Junior, and Senior categories. The entire event, organized by Piemonte Bricks LUG together with the Municipality of Carmagnola and the Pro Loco, has a strong charitable focus: fundraising supports UGI - Italian Parents Union against childhood cancer and the Le Cuffie Colorate association.

Why It's Worth Visiting

Between visiting the dioramas and attending a workshop, you can discover the "Bricks & Friends Passport," listen to the concert by the Carmagnola Philharmonic Society at the Ancient Bastions, and browse the stalls of the used toy market. It is a perfect experience for families, completely free of charge, set within the most beautiful streets and monuments of Carmagnola.

Bricks & Friends — edition 2026
