The open-air motor show in the heart of Turin
The Turin Auto Show is much more than just a trade fair: it is the return of one of Italy's most iconic automotive events to the heart of the Piedmontese capital. Turin is the cradle of the Italian automotive industry, with the city's first motor show dating back to 1900. After the historic years at Parco del Valentino and its subsequent move to Milan, the event returned in 2024 with a completely renewed format: no longer confined to closed pavilions, but an open-air exhibition spread across the squares and streets of Turin's historic center.
The 2026 edition takes place from September 11 to 13 in the heart of the city, with vehicles displayed outdoors along the most prestigious squares and boulevards of the city center, from the monumental heart of Piazza Castello to the city's royal spaces. Admission is completely free, with no registration or ticket required, and stands are open daily from 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Over forty car manufacturers are expected, with a lineup that brings together the great Italian and European namesโFerrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Pininfarina, Italdesign, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, BMW, Mercedes-Benzโand the new wave of manufacturers, particularly Chinese brands that have chosen Turin as one of their main European gateways. In 2025, seventeen Chinese brands were already present, a number expected to grow further.
With approximately half a million visitors and an estimated economic impact of around five million euros, the Turin Auto Show has become one of the premier events of the Turin autumn. The event, organized by the Municipality of Turin and supported by the Piedmont region, celebrates the identity of a city that has made the automobile its history, offering families, enthusiasts, and the curious a unique opportunity to admire more than one hundred vehicles for free in the elegant living room of the capital of the Province of Turin.
The 2026 edition of the Turin Auto Show confirms the open-air format that made the event a success, with cars displayed among the squares and streets of Turin's center. Three days open to the public, from September 11 to 13, preceded on September 10 by the professional day dedicated to the automotive industry.
The presence of over forty brands is confirmed, with a special focus on Chinese manufacturers who make Turin a gateway to the European market, alongside major Italian and European names. Road test drives and the Torino Automotive Design Award (TADA) return with new categories.
