A wellness festival in the hills of Bra
The Bra Yoga Festival is one of the most beloved holistic wellness events in Piedmont. At the beginning of every summer, Parco della Zizzola—the green space surrounding the city's iconic historic building—transforms into a large, open-air venue dedicated to yoga, meditation, and mindfulness, set against the backdrop of the Roero hills. The event takes place in the town of Bra, in the province of Cuneo, Piedmont, and is promoted by the Associazione Culturale Orora, founded in 2003 to spread a holistic vision of the individual through medicine, anthropology, psychology, and art.
Two days immersed in nature
The heart of the festival is a weekend of practices that begin in the early morning and continue until sunset. Yoga classes, meditation sessions, thematic meetings, and moments of sharing take place amidst the greenery of the park, in a welcoming and meditative atmosphere. Over the years, the event has attracted hundreds of participants, not only from the province of Cuneo but from all over Italy, becoming a reference point for both experienced practitioners and those approaching these disciplines for the first time.

A "city of yoga"
In recent years, the festival has expanded beyond the traditional setting of Parco della Zizzola, involving the historic center and various locations throughout the Bra area, with the goal of turning Bra into a true "city of yoga." Venues for side events have included the Ala di Bra, in the heart of the town, and the charming Cascina Bauci.
Free admission and a spirit of solidarity
One of the most appreciated features of the Bra Yoga Festival is its accessibility: all practices are free and open to everyone, with the option to leave a conscious donation. In several editions, the proceeds from these donations have been given to charitable initiatives, confirming the community-focused vocation of the event.

Edizione 2026: "Sole e Luna — Orbite Interiori"
L'ottava edizione del Festival dello Yoga di Bra si è tenuta sabato 6 e domenica 7 giugno 2026 al Parco della Zizzola, sulle colline braidesi. Il tema scelto, "Sole e Luna — Orbite Interiori", ha guidato un percorso dedicato alle due energie complementari della persona: la forza dinamica e luminosa del Sole e quella contemplativa e rigenerante della Luna.
Le pratiche sono iniziate alle ore 8 del mattino e hanno accompagnato i partecipanti fino al tramonto, alternando lezioni, meditazioni, incontri e momenti di condivisione immersi nella natura. Tra gli appuntamenti, un incontro tematico attorno al libro "Perché abbiamo bisogno della dea" di Donatella Signetti e un'area ristoro per i momenti conviviali. Il festival si è esteso oltre il parco con un evento OFF il 24 maggio all'Ala di Bra e una giornata speciale il 21 giugno, Giornata Internazionale dello Yoga, alla Cascina Bauci.

Tutte le pratiche sono state gratuite e aperte a tutti, con formula di offerta consapevole facoltativa. L'organizzazione è stata curata dall'Associazione Culturale Orora.

Sabato 6 e domenica 7 giugno 2026, Parco della Zizzola: pratiche di yoga e meditazione dalle ore 8 fino al tramonto, lezioni di diversi stili, incontri tematici (tra cui la presentazione del libro "Perché abbiamo bisogno della dea" di Donatella Signetti) e area ristoro. Eventi collaterali: 24 maggio all'Ala di Bra (pratica collettiva mattutina) e 21 giugno alla Cascina Bauci per la Giornata Internazionale dello Yoga.

How to get there
Bra can be reached by car via the A6 Turin-Savona motorway (Marene exit) or the A33 Asti-Cuneo motorway. By train, the city is served by the Bra station on the lines from Turin, Cavallermaggiore, and Alba. Parco della Zizzola is located on the hill overlooking the town center.
Admission and hours
Admission is free; an optional conscious donation is encouraged. Practices take place from early morning until sunset. We recommend bringing your own mat, comfortable clothing, water, and sun protection.
