The Bornasco Beer Festival
The Bornasco Beer Festival is one of the most anticipated summer events in Bornasco, a small village in the municipality of Sala Biellese, in the province of Biella (Piedmont). Organized by the Pro Loco of Sala Biellese and Bornasco together with the Arci Amici di Bornasco club, and supported by the local council, the festival transforms the Via Regina Margherita event area into a meeting point for the entire community and visitors from neighboring towns.
Beer, Food, and Music
The main theme is, of course, draught beer: at the taps, you will find labels highly regarded by enthusiasts, such as the Trappist La Trappe, the Estaminet Premium pilsner, and the Belgian Chouffe. Accompanying the pints is genuine, hearty food, including arrosticini, stuffed sandwiches, grilled meats, appetizers, and pizza, designed to satisfy both adults and children throughout the evening.
The soundtrack is provided by live music: every night, a band takes the stage, with rock concerts that keep the event area buzzing until late and maintain a high-energy atmosphere between one pint and the next.
The 5-a-Side Football Tournament
Alongside the culinary offerings, the festival hosts the 5-a-side Football Tournament, a well-established tradition managed by the Arci Amici di Bornasco. The matches take place throughout the day and culminate in the awards ceremony, offering a day of sport and fun that involves local teams and a large crowd of supporters.
An Authentic Village Festival
The Bornasco event is an authentic village festival, far removed from large commercial fairs: it is born from the passion of local association volunteers and maintains the convivial spirit typical of Piedmontese sagre. It is the perfect opportunity to discover a lesser-known corner of the Biella area, nestled in the hills of the Serra morenica, and to spend an evening in good company with great beer, home-cooked food, and music.

L'edizione 2026 della Festa della Birra a Bornasco si è tenuta venerdì 12 e sabato 13 giugno all'area feste di via Regina Margherita, nella frazione di Bornasco a Sala Biellese (provincia di Biella). Due serate all'insegna della birra alla spina, della cucina genuina e della musica dal vivo, con in più la quarta edizione del Torneo di Calcio a 5.
La manifestazione si è confermata uno degli appuntamenti più sentiti dell'estate biellese, grazie all'impegno della Pro Loco di Sala Biellese e Bornasco e del circolo Arci Amici di Bornasco, con il patrocinio del Comune.
