BorgoFest takes place in one of the most fascinating locations on Lake Como: the village of Rezzonico, an ancient fishing village dominated by its castle, part of the municipality of San Siro, in the province of Como. The cobbled streets and lake views provide the backdrop for a sagra (food festival) that is also a journey through the history and beauty of the Lario region.
A taste tour between lake and mountain
The event is conceived as a food and wine tour: starting from Rezzonico Castle, visitors move through the stages of the village, tasting local specialties. On the menu are pizza with missultini (the typical dried agone fish of the Lario), pizzoccheri, polenta taragna, cheeses, local cured meats, wine, and Gota Gin.
