Wine among the alleys of Villatico

Colico in Cantina is one of the most charming wine events in the upper Lario region. It takes place in Villatico, a hamlet of Colico in the province of Lecco, at the northern end of Lake Como. For three days, the village opens its cellars and spaces, transforming into a grand tasting route where you can stroll with a glass in hand, amidst stone walls and glimpses of the lake.

Routes between Lario and Valtellina

The festival offers themed tasting routes, which bring together two extraordinary and nearby wine territories: on one side, the wines of the Terre Lariane, and on the other, the Nebbiolo of Valtellina, the "wine Alps." An interactive map guides visitors through the participating cellars and the labels available for tasting, allowing them to build their own tasting itinerary.

Cellars open until midnight

The evening atmosphere is one of the distinctive features of the event: the cellars remain open until late in the evening, until midnight on peak days, offering a wine walk under the stars. To facilitate participation and ensure safety, a free shuttle service is available from Colico, along with connections from other locations in the area.

Organized by the Pro Loco of Colico, Colico in Cantina enhances the wine-growing and tourist vocation of the upper Lake Como area, combining the quality of Larian and Valtellinese wines with the beauty of a historic village. It is an eagerly awaited event that attracts enthusiasts from the entire Lecco region and beyond.
