Gastronomic evenings with the Alleanza Giovanile, featuring tortelli, grilled meats, and conviviality in the heart of the Mugello region
The Bianco Blu Festival with Tortello and Grill Fair is the summer highlight hosted by the ASD Alleanza Giovanile, the historic sports club of Dicomano, a town in the Metropolitan City of Florence overlooking the Mugello valley. For several evenings in June, the local sports grounds come alive with long tables, mouth-watering aromas, and a great sense of community: the team's colors, white and blue, give their name to a festival that is first and foremost a community gathering, with proceeds supporting the club's activities and its young athletes.
The heart of the event is the kitchen, which opens in the evening starting at 7:30 PM. The menu features dishes that tell the story of the gastronomic tradition of the Mugello and the Tuscan Apennines:
The format is that of the best Tuscan village festivals: affordable prices, generous portions, and service provided by the sports club's volunteers. For busy tables and on peak evenings, reservations are recommended.
Dicomano is located where the Comano and Sieve valleys meet, at the gateway to the Mugello and at the foot of the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines. It is a village with a strong identity, home to a small jewel of Italian neoclassicism, the Oratory of Sant'Onofrio, dedicated to the town's patron saint. The Bianco Blu Festival is part of a rich calendar of feasts and fairs that animate this corner of the province of Florence between spring and summer, from the May Fair to various gastronomic events celebrating local products.
More than just a fair, the Bianco Blu Festival is a celebration of a community that revolves around the sports field. It is an opportunity to get together, dine outdoors on summer evenings, and concretely support the social life of Dicomano. An authentic event, far from the major tourist circuits, perfect for those who want to discover the most genuine side of the Mugello through its food.
The 2026 Bianco Blu Festival takes place at the Alleanza Giovanile sports facilities in Dicomano over nine evenings in June: 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 20, and 21 June 2026. The kitchen opens every evening from 7:30 PM with Mugello-style tortello, grilled meats, and pizza.
On Friday, June 12, the gastronomic event coincides with the feast of Sant'Onofrio, the town's patron saint, which is particularly significant in 2026 due to the reopening of the Oratory after restoration work.
Reservations are recommended (WhatsApp 351 4327979 or email [email protected]). Admission to the festival is free.
