About EcoFestival

The Bergolo EcoFestival is the regeneration festival of the Alta Langa: two days of art, nature, workshops, and conviviality in the Cuneo village of Bergolo. Featuring regenerative agriculture, live music, talks, and a sustainable market, the festival transforms the village into a temporary home for listening and participation, where one can pause, exchange ideas, and imagine new possibilities for the region.

The Bergolo EcoFestival: regeneration in the Alta Langa

In the small village of Bergolo, in the province of Cuneo, in the heart of the Piedmontese Alta Langa, the EcoFestival is an event dedicated to environmental sustainability, agroecology, and the care of places and relationships. Defined as "the regeneration festival of the Alta Langa," it is an invitation to imagine new ways of inhabiting the world, starting from a fragile and precious territory like the Langhe.

Bergolo, one of the smallest municipalities in Piedmont and an "Orange Flag" recipient from the Italian Touring Club, becomes a temporary home for listening and participation for two days. The core theme is that of "home" understood as oikos: the care of the environment, communities, and the bonds that hold them together.

A multidisciplinary program

The festival offers a wide range of activities ranging from non-formal education to artistic expression, from live music to ecological education:

  • Workshops on regenerative agriculture, beekeeping, soil biofertility, dry-stone construction with Langhe stone, and creative writing;
  • Talks and meetings with activists, authors, farmers, and circular economy projects;
  • Concerts, jam sessions, and DJ sets immersed in nature;
  • Sustainable market with local products and ethical crafts;
  • Playful and educational activities for families and children;
  • Zero-mile refreshments with plant-based menus and short supply chains.

During the festival, participants explore practices that regenerate: the land through sustainable agriculture and soil care, relationships through art and writing, and communities through the sharing of knowledge and tools.

Organizers

The project is promoted by the Vagamondo Association in collaboration with New Wellness Education, the Alta Langa Cultural Park, and the Municipality of Bergolo, with support from grants from the Fondazione Compagnia di San Paolo and the Fondazione CRC. It is an event open to all ages that also involves young European volunteers, confirming its international and participatory vocation.

For 2026, the Bergolo EcoFestival chooses the summer solstice, with an edition held on June 20th and 21st. The festival presents itself as "a space for listening, participation, and change," dedicated to the celebration of home (oikos) and the care of places and relationships.
