About Bagni di Vino

Bagni di Vino is the summer food and wine festival in San Giuliano Terme, near Pisa, which transforms the Parterre into a large open-air wine cellar every year. Over two evenings, wineries from the Pisan hills and surrounding areas offer tastings, accompanied by local cuisine and live music. A convivial event celebrating wine culture, farm-to-table products, and a festive atmosphere, with free entry and affordable tasting packages.

Bagni di Vino, celebrating the wines of the Pisan territory

Bagni di Vino is the food and wine event that brings the Parterre of San Giuliano Terme to life every June, in the heart of the spa town near Pisa. Launched in 2023, the festival has grown with each edition to become one of the most anticipated events of early summer, drawing wine lovers, curious visitors, and families for two evenings of flavor and conviviality.

A large open-air wine cellar

The heart of the event is the wine tasting: the charming Parterre space hosts numerous wineries from the provinces of Pisa, Lucca, and Massa Carrara. Producers are present at the tasting stands, ready to share the stories behind their labels, their cellar techniques, and the history of every bottle. It is the perfect opportunity to get to know local short-supply chain producers and the wine brands of the Pisan hills, in a journey that highlights the bond between wine and the Tuscan landscape.

Wine, local cuisine, and live music

The wine is paired with gastronomic offerings curated by local businesses, featuring authentic dishes from the areas surrounding San Giuliano Terme. The atmosphere is completed by live music, with concerts and DJ sets keeping the evenings lively until late in a relaxed, festive setting suitable for all ages.

How the tasting works

Entry to the event is free. To participate in the tastings, you can purchase a tasting package which includes the official "Bagni di Vino" glass, a glass holder pouch, and a series of tokens to spend at the producers' stands. The package is available for pre-sale online at a discounted price and, in limited quantities, at the ticket counters at the Parterre entrance.

An event by the Municipality of San Giuliano Terme

Promoted with the patronage of the Municipality of San Giuliano Terme and organized by Black Swan brand consultants, Bagni di Vino is now an integral part of the spa town's summer calendar. The setting of the Parterre, just steps from the thermal baths and the slopes of Monte Pisano, makes the visit an experience that combines gastronomy, scenery, and Tuscan tradition, just a short distance from the city of Pisa.

Bagni di Vino — edition 2026

The fourth edition of Bagni di Vino took place on Friday, June 19, and Saturday, June 20, 2026, at the Parterre in San Giuliano Terme, from 7:00 PM to midnight. Sixteen wineries from the provinces of Pisa, Lucca, and Massa Carrara offered their labels for tasting, accompanied by local cuisine and live music, with free entry and tasting packages.
