A night of music, entertainment, and solidarity under the stars at Giardino Scotto
Arpa d'Estate is one of the most anticipated events of the Pisan summer: an evening where music and entertainment serve a greater cause. Promoted by the Fondazione Arpa, the event takes place at Giardino Scotto, the historic park overlooking the Lungarno in the heart of Pisa. Every year, it gathers singers, musicians, and artists who take the stage to turn their talent into a tangible gesture of solidarity.
The name pays tribute to the Fondazione Arpa, established to carry on the legacy of Professor Franco Mosca by bridging culture, healthcare, and humanitarian commitment. Each edition of Arpa d'Estate has a specific goal: to raise funds for the foundation's research and training projects, ranging from medical-scientific research to humanitarian missions. Admission is by voluntary donation, and every contribution goes directly to the foundation's activities, making the audience an active participant in a project of solidarity.
The setting of Giardino Scotto, with its ancient walls and lush greenery surrounding the stage, gives the evening an intimate and evocative atmosphere. The artistic direction, curated by Renato Raimoโthe event's creator and driving forceโcrafts a program each year that balances major names in Italian music, promising newcomers, and pure entertainment. Between songs, live performances, and surprise guests, the evening unfolds as a true charity gala.
The beating heart of the event is the Arpa d'Estate Young Talent Award, dedicated to emerging artists and bands who perform before the audience and a popular jury. It is an important showcase for new local talent and beyond, helping to make Arpa d'Estate not just a show, but a springboard for the new voices of music.
In its local dimension, Arpa d'Estate represents one of the signature events of the summer for the Municipality of Pisa and the Province of Pisa, in Tuscany. By combining the great Italian musical tradition with the charitable mission of the Fondazione Arpa, the evening has become a staple for locals and visitors alike, consistently drawing large, enthusiastic crowds and frequently selling out.
The sixth edition of Arpa d'Estate will be held on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at Giardino Scotto in Pisa. The evening, dedicated to music, entertainment, and solidarity, is promoted by Fondazione Arpa to support its research and training projects, following the legacy of Professor Franco Mosca. Established artists and young talents will take the stage in a charity gala open to the entire city.
Doors open at 8:30 PM, with the show starting at 9:30 PM.
The evening is hosted by Renato Raimo, the event's creator and artistic director, alongside Maria Chiara Battaglia.
Franco Fasano, a renowned Italian singer-songwriter and author of some of the most famous songs in Italian music.
The award, decided by a popular jury of 90 people divided into groups, features young talents Lorenzo Fanini (aka Fanรฌ), Smile Music Band, Sofya, and Methos. The evening will be opened by Fiori di Kyoto, winners of the previous edition.
The event takes place at Giardino Scotto, along the Lungarno Fibonacci in Pisa, just a short walk from the historic center and the train station.
