The singer-songwriter festival at the Marina of Città Sant'Angelo
Armonie d'Autore is one of the most beloved summer music festivals in Città Sant'Angelo, a hillside town in the province of Pescara overlooking the Adriatic coast in Abruzzo. The event takes place at the Marina of Città Sant'Angelo, transforming the coastline into an open-air stage dedicated to the great Italian singer-songwriter tradition, with free-admission evenings organized by the Associazione Uscita Nord in collaboration with the municipal administration.
The heart of Armonie d'Autore is the canzone d'autore (singer-songwriter music): over the years, the festival has hosted prominent names from the Italian scene, alternating established artists, young talents, and orchestral ensembles. Past editions have featured artists such as Filippo Graziani, Mimmo Locasciulli, Grazia Di Michele, and Roberta Giallo, often accompanied by the resident Uscita Nord band, alongside projects that celebrate Abruzzese musical traditions, such as the Orchestra della Transumanza.
The program goes beyond concerts: alongside singer-songwriter performances, the festival hosts evenings with large ensembles, such as the Medit Orchestra, and moments of dialect theater that recount the region's popular identity. This blend of music, culture, and tradition makes the festival a cross-generational event capable of engaging a wide and diverse audience.
Evenings typically begin at 9:30 PM at the Marina of Città Sant'Angelo, with the sea breeze and the Adriatic sunset providing the perfect backdrop. Free admission and a relaxed atmosphere make Armonie d'Autore the ideal opportunity to combine a high-quality musical evening with a stroll along the promenade in one of the most picturesque stretches of the Pescara coast.
Armonie d'Autore is part of the rich Summer in Città Sant'Angelo program, which from June to September enlivens the historic center, the Marina, and the surrounding districts with concerts, festivals, shows, and traditions. Together with other events, the festival helps make the town one of the most vibrant cultural hubs in the province of Pescara during the summer season.
The 2026 edition of Armonie d'Autore brings the Marina of Città Sant'Angelo to life with three consecutive evenings, all with free admission and starting at 9:30 PM.
The festival, organized by the Associazione Uscita Nord in partnership with the Municipality of Città Sant'Angelo, confirms its status as one of the premier musical events of the summer in the province of Pescara.
The Marina of Città Sant'Angelo can be reached by car via the A14 motorway (Città Sant'Angelo-Pescara Nord exit) and is located along the Adriatic coast in the province of Pescara. The nearest train station is Pescara, which is well-connected to the national rail network.
All festival evenings are free of charge. Shows generally start at 9:30 PM at the Marina.
