A village transformed into an open-air stage
The Arcadia Street FestiVal di Sole is a grand celebration of street art that, every year in late spring, brings the historic center of Caldes to life—a small town in the Val di Sole, in the province of Trento, in the heart of Trentino-Alto Adige. For an entire weekend, the village's streets and squares turn into a sprawling stage: acrobats, jugglers, clowns, fire-eaters, musicians, and circus companies perform outdoors, engaging audiences of all ages in an atmosphere of wonder and joy.
International artists and roving performances
Each year, the program features companies from all over the world, blending contemporary circus, comedy theater, live music, and magic. The shows are performed in a roving format, allowing visitors to discover performances while strolling through the alleys, all under the watchful eye of Castel Caldes, a recently restored medieval manor that frames the entire event.
Street food and the flavors of Val di Sole
Alongside the performances, the Arcadia Street FestiVal is also a journey of taste: throughout the historic center, you will find street food stalls offering the culinary excellence of Val di Sole and Slow Food products, curated in collaboration with the Strada della Mela e dei Sapori delle Valli di Non e di Sole.
An event for the whole family
The festival is designed for a broad and diverse audience: alongside the shows, there are creative workshops and activities dedicated to children, making the event an ideal destination for families. Admission is free, and performances take place freely throughout the town streets.
A staple of the Val di Sole calendar
Organized by the APT Val di Sole and the Municipality of Caldes, the Arcadia Street FestiVal di Sole has become a consolidated fixture of the Trentino summer calendar, attracting visitors to Caldes from all over the valley and beyond. It is a unique opportunity to experience the village in a festive spirit, amidst art, music, good food, and the beauty of the alpine landscape of Val di Sole.

Arcadia Street FestiVal di Sole 2026
The 2026 edition was held on Saturday, May 30, and Sunday, May 31, 2026, throughout the streets and squares of Caldes, in Val di Sole. The program brought together numerous international companies: Loco Motiv (Czech Republic) with fantastical-comic inspirations from the world of Miyazaki, Cho Kairin (China) with aerial acrobatics, Heromacro (Japan) blending ninja strength and geisha elegance, Agro from Collectif Primavez, illusionist Luca Regina, the Bada Bim Bum Band, The Tamarros with their 70s disco tribute, and Madame Opera with pop-opera performances three meters in the air.
'From Warhol to Banksy' exhibition
In conjunction with the festival, the exhibition 'From Warhol to Banksy - Pop and Street Icons in Val di Sole' was inaugurated at Castel Caldes, featuring works by Banksy, Blek le Rat, Obey, Shepard Fairey, Keith Haring, Invader, Sten Lex, and Orticanoodles, open until September 20, 2026.
Family activities and street food
On Sunday, May 31, the children's workshop 'What kind of Street Pop Artist are you?' was held by Laura De Rosa, along with creative workshops by Bottega dei Giochi and IRIS. Throughout the historic center, there was no shortage of street food stalls featuring the culinary excellence of Val di Sole.

How to get there
Caldes is located in Val di Sole, in the province of Trento. By car, it can be reached via the SS42 Tonale and Mendola state road; by train, the Caldes station is served by the Trento-Malè-Marilleva railway (Trentino Trasporti).

Admission to the festival is free. Performances take place outdoors throughout the streets and squares of the historic center.
