The Arbizzano Festival is the end-of-summer event for the hamlet of Arbizzano, in Negrar di Valpolicella, a municipality in the province of Verona in the territory of Valpolicella Classica. Also known as the 'Community Festival', it takes place between the end of August and the first days of September along Via San Francesco, in the heart of the hamlet.
Typical cuisine and tradition
The heart of the festival is the large food stall, where you can taste the dishes of Venetian and Veronese tradition. Among the specialties are the strauben, spiral fritters typical of the cuisine of the Alpine and pre-Alpine regions, delicious protagonists of the festival evenings.
