Four stops โ€” Molina, Gorgusello, Breonio, and Cavalo โ€” featuring markets of small organic producers, crafts, demonstrations of ancient trades, and food stalls. The highlight is the Ancient Rosario Fair of Breonio, on the third Sunday of October, one of the most cherished traditional fairs in the Verona mountains.

Autumn Sundays in the Fumane Mountains

Farmer's Autumn is an event that enlivens the mountain villages of the Municipality of Fumane, in the upper Valpolicella, province of Verona, every Sunday in October. Four stops follow each other in the hamlets โ€” Molina, Gorgusello, Breonio, and Cavalo โ€” with farmers' markets featuring small organic producers from the Verona mountains, dedicated to promoting typical products and the connection with the land.

The Ancient Rosario Fair of Breonio

The heart of the event is the Ancient Rosario Fair in Breonio, held on the third Sunday of October for the feast of Our Lady of the Rosary. Now in its twenty-first edition, it is one of the most deeply rooted traditional fairs in the Verona mountains: from the early morning hours, the village streets fill with a market, food stalls, exhibitions, and events that attract visitors from all over Valpolicella.

Ancient Crafts and Mountain Flavors

Along the Farmer's Autumn stops, there are demonstrations of ancient crafts, organic products and local crafts, chestnuts, and seasonal flavors. The event is organized by the Pro Loco of Breonio together with Unpli Verona and represents a unique opportunity to discover the highest villages of the Municipality of Fumane in autumn, amidst nature, tradition, and gastronomy.
