Five days on the Garda lakefront to celebrate Bardolino wine and the grape harvest
The Bardolino Grape and Wine Festival was born in 1929 to celebrate the grape harvest and is today one of the most important and long-standing wine events on Lake Garda. It takes place every year at the beginning of October on the lakefront of Bardolino, in the province of Verona, and attracts over 150,000 visitors.
For five days, the Lungolago Cornicello and Parco Carrara Bottagisio are filled with food and wine stalls and promotional stands for Bardolino wine, presented in its Classico, Superiore, and Chiaretto versions. Guided tastings are organized by the Consorzio Tutela Vino Bardolino DOC and FISAR sommeliers, with tours that explore the historical exhibition of the Grape Festival, the area dedicated to grape cultivation, and the Oil Museum.
Among the most anticipated events are the inaugural folk parade through the streets of the historic center, the Bardolino Philharmonic with its vocal and instrumental concerts, evening concerts, shows, conferences on the theme of wine, and especially the investiture of the new Brothers of the Bardolino Wine Brotherhood, a symbol of local wine culture.
With free admission and opening from 10 am to midnight, the Grape Festival is Bardolino's major autumn event: an opportunity to discover the wine identity of the Veronese Garda, amidst history, lake landscape, and conviviality.
The 95th edition of the Bardolino Grape and Wine Festival is confirmed from October 1st to 5th, 2026, on Lungolago Cornicello and at Parco Carrara Bottagisio. Organized by the Fondazione Bardolino Top, it offers five days of tastings, gastronomy, music, and folklore dedicated to Bardolino DOC wine.
