The Arancina Festival in Petrosino

In the height of summer, when the Trapani coastline fills with vacationers, Petrosino celebrates one of the most beloved icons of Sicilian street food with the Arancina Festival. The event takes place in Piazza Biscione, the town's most popular square, drawing residents and tourists alike for an evening of flavor, music, and joy. The event is organized by the Problemi Zero - Pastorella Event association under the patronage of the Municipality of Petrosino.

Many arancine, one great festival

The undisputed star is, of course, the arancina, presented in a multitude of varieties: from the classic meat ragù version to the butter-filled one, as well as more imaginative and creative interpretations by local bakeries and kitchens. At the stalls set up in the square, you can also taste other traditional Sicilian street food products, embarking on a culinary journey that showcases the generosity of the island's cuisine.

Music, folklore, and entertainment

The festival is about more than just food: the evening is filled with musical performances featuring live bands, dance school showcases, folk groups, cabaret acts, and entertainment for all ages. It is a village festival in the most authentic sense, where sharing food blends with entertainment and the pleasure of being together.
