An event that combines sport, education, and fun.

Martial Arts on Stage in Aosta

The Martial Arts Festival is an event hosted at the Palaindoor in Aosta that brings together the main martial disciplines practiced in the Aosta Valley in a single weekend. Organized by ASD Aikido VDA, the festival offers demonstrations, exhibitions, and above all, the opportunity for the public to try the various arts for free.

Seven Disciplines to Discover

The heart of the event features the seven disciplines represented by local sports associations: Aikido, Karate, Krav Maga, Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Ju-Jitsu, and Boxing. Each discipline showcases its techniques in an alternation of spectacular exhibitions and open practice sessions, where anyone—children, teenagers, and adults—can step onto the tatami and experience it firsthand.

Sport and Education

The festival also has a strong educational value: in some editions, it has been the concluding event for school projects, such as one dedicated to digital awareness and cyberbullying prevention, which combined experiential learning with martial arts. This demonstrates how sport can become a tool for growth for the younger generation in the Aosta region.
