The Courmayeur Cup is the friendly tournament that kicks off the Women's Serie A1 volleyball season, organized by the Lega Pallavolo Serie A Femminile. The event brings some of the strongest Italian league teams to Courmayeur, at the foot of Mont Blanc, offering fans a preview of the season in a strikingly beautiful mountain setting, in the heart of the Aosta Valley.
League Bigs on the Court
At the Courmayeur Sport Center, four top teams face off: Prosecco Doc A.Carraro Imoco Conegliano, Numia Vero Volley Milano, Savino Del Bene Scandicci, and Igor Gorgonzola Novara. The tournament follows a semifinals and finals format (1st-2nd place final and third-place final), delivering several high-level matchups between the protagonists of Serie A1 Tigotà in a single weekend.

The second edition of the Courmayeur Cup brings the friendly tournament that inaugurates the Women's Serie A1 season back to Courmayeur. At the Courmayeur Sport Center, on the weekend of September 26 and 27, Conegliano, Milano, Scandicci, and Novara — four of the most competitive teams in the Italian league — will compete in a schedule of semifinals and finals at the foot of Mont Blanc.
