About Aosta Pride

Aosta Pride is the event that annually brings LGBTQIA+ rights, freedoms, and respect issues to the Aosta Valley's capital. A Pride Week of meetings, shows, and cultural events spread throughout the city's spaces precedes the final parade, which crosses the streets of Aosta in a colorful and participatory procession. Organized by the Aosta Pride Committee together with Queer VdA, it is the main pride event in Aosta Valley.

LGBTQIA+ Pride in Aosta Valley

Aosta Pride is the event that gives a voice to the territory's LGBTQIA+ community and its supporters. Organized by the Aosta Pride Committee together with the Queer VdA association, it brings a program of cultural initiatives, discussion forums, and shows to Aosta every year, with the aim of building a participatory and widespread Pride, capable of involving the region's associative, cultural, and social realities.

A Week of Events and a Parade

The event is divided into two parts. The Pride Week offers public meetings, screenings, workshops, conferences, and shows dedicated to the themes of rights, freedoms, and inclusion in various city venues. The concluding parade then crosses the streets of Aosta's city center in a festive and assertive procession, the symbolic moment of the entire event.

Rights at the Center of Public Debate

Behind the celebration, Aosta Pride maintains a strong social and cultural focus: the week's events address civil rights, gender identity, and the fight against discrimination through meetings and debates, bringing them to the center of public discussion in a mountain region like Aosta Valley.

Aosta Pride — edition 2026

Aosta Pride 2026 takes place from September 19 to 26, with Pride Week from September 19 to 25 and the final parade on Saturday, September 26. After the 2025 edition without a procession, the grand parade through the streets of Aosta returns, moved to the first weekend of autumn. A week of public meetings, cultural events, and shows precedes the parade.

The 2026 edition of Aosta Pride marks the return of the parade, scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, through the streets of Aosta's city center, moved to the first weekend of autumn. The procession is preceded by Pride Week from September 19 to 25, a week of public meetings, cultural events, shows, and community gatherings held in various city venues.

The organizers of the Aosta Pride Committee aim once again to build a participatory and widespread Pride, capable of involving the region's associative, cultural, and social realities and bringing issues of rights, freedoms, and respect to the center of public debate.
