About Animals at the Fair
A weekend dedicated to all animals
Animali in Fiera is the autumn event that draws enthusiasts, families, and the curious from all over Italy to Forlì, in the heart of the Province of Forlì-Cesena in Emilia-Romagna. Organized by Romagna Fiere within the exhibition centre on Via Punta di Ferro, the event covers an area of approximately 14,000 square metres, including indoor and outdoor spaces, and features a large exhibition with all kinds of species.
The areas and the animals
The route takes you to discover very different animal worlds, each with its own dedicated space:
- Horse Hall — the equestrian world with shows, exhibitions, and pony rides for the little ones;
- Reptilius — the large reptile pavilion, with snakes, lizards, and turtles;
- Psittacus — the ornithological exhibition dedicated to parrots and psittacines;
- Forlingatto — the feline exhibition with cats of numerous breeds;
- Dog Area — with water rescue dog demonstrations;
- Romagna Farmyard and Mini Farm — ducks, geese, turkeys, rabbits, pygmy goats, and dwarf breeds;
- exhibitions of pigeons, koi carp, minerals, and fossils.
Activities, exhibitions, and workshops
In addition to the exhibitions, Animali in Fiera offers a packed schedule of exhibitions, competitions, conferences, shows, contests, and educational workshops designed for adults and children. Breeders, associations, organizations, veterinarians, and educational farms share their expertise and professionalism for learning and fun experiences, always upholding the event's three founding principles: education, care, and respect. There are also commercial areas with accessories and products for animals.
An event for the whole family
With its workshops for children, direct contact with animals, and numerous shows, the event confirms itself as an adventure to be experienced together, combining fun with awareness of animal welfare. Its location in Forlì, a hub on the Via Emilia, makes it easily accessible from all of Romagna and beyond.
Animals at the Fair — edition 2026
The 17th edition of Animali in Fiera takes place on Saturday, October 10, and Sunday, October 11, 2026, at the Forlì Exhibition Centre, from 9:30 AM to 7:30 PM. Across an area of 14,000 square metres, all the historical areas of the event return, enhanced by some new additions announced for this year.

2026 New Additions
Among the new additions announced for this edition are alpacas and a section dedicated to dinosaurs, in addition to the usual program of exhibitions, competitions, conferences, shows, contests, and educational workshops for adults and children.

By car: take the Forlì exit from the A14 motorway; the exhibition centre is well-signposted and has ample parking. By train: Forlì station on the Bologna-Rimini line, then take a local bus to the exhibition area.

Tickets
Full price €12.00; reduced price €10.00 (over 65s, military personnel, disabled individuals, and invalids); free entry for children up to 12 years old.
