Bubbles under the Oak: Trentodoc and gin in the Garden of Palazzo Martini in Mezzocorona
AMA DOC is the summer event where the Pro Loco of Mezzocorona celebrates the food and wine excellence of the Piana Rotaliana Königsberg, in the heart of Trentino. The setting is the Garden of Palazzo Conti Martini, a 17th-century noble residence overlooking Via Dante, where a centuries-old oak tree serves as both a symbol and a natural canopy for the evening. The slogan perfectly captures the spirit of the event: "Trentodoc and Gin Tonic… bubbles under the Oak!".
The stars of the show are the Trentodoc sparkling wines, the Metodo Classico wines produced by the wineries of the Rotaliana Königsberg, available here in a wide selection. Alongside the bubbles, there is space for gins from local distilleries for gin and tonic lovers, and a gastronomic offering provided by street food trucks from Dolomiti Street Food. It is a widespread and convivial aperitif, designed to discover the flavors of the wine-growing plain surrounding Mezzocorona, the land of Teroldego and great mountain bubbles, all in one evening.
The soundtrack for the evening is provided by music and DJ sets, accompanying the public from sunset until late at night, transforming the historic garden into an open-air lounge. The atmosphere is relaxed and informal, perfect for those who want to combine wine discovery with the pleasure of an evening among friends in a charming corner of the village.
AMA DOC is organized by the Pro Loco of Mezzocorona and is part of the calendar of initiatives that promote the wine and cultural heritage of the municipality in Trentino-Alto Adige. Admission is free and does not require a reservation, making the event accessible to both residents and visitors. The festival has become a staple of the Rotaliana summer, attracting wine enthusiasts and curious visitors to the historic center of Mezzocorona.
Located at the foot of the Monte di Mezzocorona, the town is one of the iconic villages of the Piana Rotaliana, considered one of the most prestigious areas in Italy for mountain viticulture. Palazzo Conti Martini, with its garden and monumental oak, is one of the most beautiful spots in the town and the ideal choice for an evening dedicated to wine and the local territory.
The 2026 edition of AMA DOC was held on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in the Garden of Palazzo Conti Martini in Mezzocorona, from 6:00 PM to 1:00 AM.
