The evening walk among the torches around the lake
The Alleghe Lake Night Walk is a non-competitive walk of about 5.3 kilometers that winds around Lake Alleghe, in the province of Belluno, at the foot of Monte Civetta. Open to everyone, from children to the elderly, it attracts about a thousand participants each year, confirming itself as one of the most enjoyable events of the Agordina summer.
The walk takes place at dusk and is made spectacular by the torches that illuminate the path along the lake shores and the trail along the Cordevole stream, up to the new pedestrian bridge. The night scenery, with the lights reflecting on the water, offers a unique atmosphere in the heart of the Dolomites.
Starting from the locality of Masarè, the event is organized by the Gruppo ANA Monte Civetta and represents a moment of celebration and socialising for the community of Alleghe and for tourists on holiday. More than a race, it is a collective ritual that combines gentle sport, nature, and conviviality.
The 2026 edition of the Alleghe Lake Night Walk renews the traditional evening walk around Lake Alleghe. A 5.3 km route among the torches, starting from Masarè and ending after the loop around the lake and the Cordevole. The precise date will be announced by the organizers.
The exact date for 2026 will be confirmed by the Gruppo ANA Monte Civetta. The event takes place at dusk: meeting and start from Masarè, non-competitive route of about 5.3 km along the lake shores and the Cordevole stream to the pedestrian bridge, illuminated by torches. Open to all, adults and children.
Alleghe is reached via the SS203 Agordina (about 40 km from Belluno). Start from Masarè.
