A village festival designed for children

A Day for Children is the event that the Castellinaldo Pro Loco dedicates every year to the little ones from the village and the surrounding area. In the municipality of Castellinaldo d'Alba, a village in the Roero area in the province of Cuneo, Piedmont, the festival transforms the municipal sports field of Piazza delle Aie into a large open-air playground, where families can spend an afternoon and evening of fun together.

Games, bouncy castles, and outdoor fun

The afternoon is entirely dedicated to children: bouncy castles, group games, and organized activities bring the sports field to life for hours of pure entertainment. It is a simple and genuine occasion, as only village festivals can be, where children are the true protagonists and adults can meet in a relaxed and familiar atmosphere.

Dinner and evening show

As evening falls, the day continues at the table: the Pro Loco offers a dinner open to everyone, prepared by volunteers, followed by an evening show that brings the event to a cheerful close. It is the moment when the community gathers around local flavors and the conviviality that characterizes Roero initiatives.

An event with a charitable heart

Beyond the fun, the day has a strong charitable value. A portion of the proceeds is donated to the Regina Margherita Children's Hospital Foundation in Turin, one of the reference centers for pediatric care in Piedmont. The initiative is also dedicated to the memory of a little girl, Giulia, and this emotional bond makes the event even more heartfelt for the entire Castellinaldo community.
