Two days of yoga, meditation, and outdoor wellness at the foot of Monte Rosa
The Yoga Mountain Days are the weekend dedicated to yoga and wellness in Gressoney-Saint-Jean, at the foot of Monte Rosa, in the Lys Valley (Aosta Valley). Two days where the village opens up to outdoor practice, in evocative locations such as Piazza Umberto I, Villa Borgogna, and the historic Villa Margherita.
The program is rich and varied, designed for beginners and experts alike: hatha yoga, postural yoga, Heartfulness meditation, yoga therapy, sound baths with Tibetan bells, biodanza (movement to music), and yoga for children sessions. Teachers come from various Italian schools, offering different approaches and styles.
In addition to the practices, the event is an opportunity to experience the local area: tastings of local products and guided tours, such as the one to Villa Margherita, a historic building from 1888. The initiative is organized by the Meruyoga school, with the patronage of the Municipality of Gressoney-Saint-Jean and the Aosta Valley Region.
Practicing yoga immersed in the alpine landscape, with clean air and mountain silence, offers a different experience than in a city gym. The Yoga Mountain Days combine wellness, nature, and community, in a free weekend open to all.
